Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and able to sign up with a magic link sent to your email. Keep that email account secure, because anyone who can access it can access AgentCents. You’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@agentcents.com if you think your account has been compromised.

You can invite others to a shared workspace. The workspace owner controls membership and can remove members, and can see and revoke any API key or OAuth connection in the workspace, not only ones they created themselves. Members can see and add expenses in that workspace, according to their role, and can see and manage only the API keys and connections they personally created. Only invite people you trust with that information. When a member leaves, expenses they created stay in the workspace.

AgentCents is built to be used by AI agents, such as Meta Muse, Grok, Grok Bot, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, or your own software, through our API and MCP server.

You are responsible for your agents. Anything done with an API key or OAuth connection you created or approved is treated as done by you. This includes creating, editing, or deleting expenses.

Keep keys secret. API keys are shown once. Store them in your agent’s secure credential store, not in chat messages, code repositories, or shared documents. You can revoke a key at any time in Settings.

Review what you approve. When connecting an agent via OAuth, the consent screen shows exactly what you’re granting — the scopes, and any spending cap. Approve only what you intend to. You can revoke an OAuth connection at any time in Settings, taking effect immediately.

Review agent activity. Agents can make mistakes, such as logging the wrong amount, category, or date, or logging duplicates. Agent-created expenses are labeled with their source, and expenses over your cap wait in a review queue until you approve them. It is your responsibility to check what your agents record.

Third-party agents are not ours. Muse, Grok Bot, and other agents are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. We aren’t responsible for how those services behave, or for what they do with data you let them retrieve from AgentCents.

AgentCents is a record-keeping tool. We don’t hold, move, or spend money. We don’t connect to your bank accounts unless a feature clearly says so and you turn it on. Summaries, budgets, and charts are for your information only. They are not financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice.

Free and Pro. The Free plan has usage limits, which are shown on our pricing page. Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly or yearly through Stripe.

Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Settings. Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Price changes. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before a price change applies to you, so you can cancel first.

Refunds. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we say otherwise in writing.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may move your account to the Free plan. Your data is not deleted, but features above Free limits may become read-only, and any expense that would exceed the Free plan limit will be blocked until you’re back within it or resubscribe.

You own it. Expenses, receipts, notes, categories, and budgets you or your agents submit (”Your Data”) belong to you.

Our limited license. You give us permission to store, process, and display Your Data only as needed to run, secure, and support the Service for you.

No AI training. We do not use Your Data to train AI models, and we do not sell it.

Export. You can export your expenses to CSV at any time.

Your responsibility. Only upload content you have the right to use. Don’t upload other people’s sensitive information without their permission.

Don’t use the Service to:

• break the law, or help anyone commit fraud, money laundering, or tax evasion;
• upload malware, or try to access accounts, keys, connections, or data that aren’t yours;
• get around rate limits, plan limits, or security controls, or resell API or MCP access without our permission;
• overload the Service, including with runaway agent loops that you don’t stop once you know about them;
• reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it.

We may throttle, suspend, or revoke API keys and OAuth connections that put the Service or other users at risk.

We may set and change rate limits, request formats, endpoints, and OAuth scopes. We’ll version the API and give reasonable notice before breaking changes to a stable version, except where an urgent change is needed for security or legal reasons. Beta features may change or be removed at any time.

We own the Service, including its software, design, and branding. These Terms don’t give you rights to our trademarks. If you send us feedback, we can use it without owing you anything.

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if you don’t pay, or if we must do so to comply with the law or protect users or the Service. Where reasonable, we’ll notify you first and give you at least 30 days to export Your Data, unless the law prohibits it or the account is being used for abuse. Sections 5, 7 (ownership), 10, and 12–15 continue after termination.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that agent-submitted data will be accurate.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $100. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

You’ll defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or actions taken by agents using your keys or OAuth connections.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY], [STATE], and both parties consent to that jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@agentcents.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

We may update the Terms. For material changes, we’ll notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a provision, that doesn’t mean we’ve waived it. You can’t transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
