Agent writes: pausing & disabling

Settings → Agents includes Allow agent writes. Turning it off preserves keys, connections, and read access, while writes return 403 agent_writes_disabled until re-enabled.

For agents: this means the person paused writes deliberately. Explain it plainly and do not try another write path.
